In my camera lens I see her
Sad girl crying on a train,
Here I'll stand and take her picture,
My darkness feeding on the pain.

Love is just a kind of hunger
Looking for a heart to drain,
Through the anguish and the anger,
Sad girl crying on a train.

Someday, when they have forgiven,
They will turn and tear again,
I will be there taking pictures
Of sad girl crying on a train.
