Okay, lesson learned: finish the filk before posting it. After a full fortnight, two of the next three are still lacking a verse, and I'm not happy with any of them. So, I'm throwin' in the towel - Cobain wins. There's a small chance the others may pop up eventually, but for now I'm moving on to other projects.

I do, however, have "On a Plain," which was actually one of the first I finished and was a lot of fun to write (so, I'm not too full of angst right now ;)). Enjoy:

On a Board

I'll start this off changin' few words
When I get l33t my tower asplodes
I think that I'm l33ter than j00
I know it's wrong, but what should I do?
Start a forum - what is it for?
Fence in a lizard - he's getting too big
I think that we're l33ter than j00
I'm so elite, but what should I do~?
Logged on a board - I'm never bored

I got so drunk down at a show
It's safe to say the show became me
My postcount soared higher than j00
I know that's lame, so what should I do?
Some l33tsp34k got l33tspe4ked again
It's a nice accent - ain't heard it before
/\/\4 l3375|>34|< 15 l3373r 7|-|4/\/ j00
I know that's l4m3, so what should I do~?

Somewhere my verses are stored
I'll fill it up and write down some more
I'm telling you this forum's gone lame
Who the hell am I tryin' to flame?

An album done - my midterm is late
I know I have priorities straight
That is why I'm l33ter than you
I know I failed, now what should I do?
My roommate's here to kick me offline
Guess I should buy a box of my own
Then I'll be l33ter than j00
I know it's cheap, so what should I do~?
