The Medical Worker's Song
a filk of The Chemical Worker's Song, by Great Big Sea.
composed by codepoetica and Arram (couldn't have completed this without him)

Chorus:
And it's go doc go; certainly not for wealth
'Bout every fanboy in this place is coming back toward health
'Cause we go…

Well a curséd man am I and I'm tellin' you no lie
I work and live among the fans that bathe themselves in pie
There's Rei clones all around me, and they catch me unaware
And this Kami's spell, oh mark me well: I haven't got a prayer

Chorus

Well I've slaved among the nurses, I'm the brunt of ev'ry joke
I've fixed them up, the fighters, and it's nigh on left me broke
I've dealt with those with one track minds; for solace I would yearn
They think they're tough, I've seen enough, you'd think that they would learn

Chorus

There are some times when I just want to beat them through the floor
The young men like their kawaii so they all come back for more
But soon I'm working on and I look older than I should
And glasses robbed by that cute mob don't make me feel too good

Chorus

Well a curséd man am I and I'm tellin' you no lie
I work and live among the fans that bathe themselves in pie
There's Rei clones all around me, and they catch me unaware
And this Kami's spell, oh mark me well: I haven't got a prayer

Chorus
