[after Avril Lavigne's "Skater Boy"]

She was a boy, he was a girl
and they were totally oblivious

He was a thief, she raised the dead
A game they'd both play

She wanted him, he'd never tell
secretly he thought her fuku swell

But all of his friends stuck up their nose
they had a problem with her gothic clothes

She was a gamer girl, he said 'see ya later girl'
she wasn't old enough for him
She had a pretty face, was best when framed by lace
she needed to be a bit older.

Five years from now, he sits at home
playing his re'nai, he's all alone

he turns on TV, guess who he sees
gamer girl ravin' on MTV

He calls up his friends, they already have
extra passes to her Cave of Evil

He tags along and stands in the Cave
looks out at the girl that he turned down

She was a gamer girl, he said 'see ya later girl'
she wasn't old enough for him
Now she's a raver queen
dancin' she makes a scene
is her pretty face now framed by lace?

[stanza repeats]

Sorry, boy, but you missed out
well tough luck, that girl's mine now

We are more than just good friends
this is how the story ends

Too bad that you couldn't wait
wait for the queen that girl would be

She was more than met the eye
I saw the soul that was inside

She's just a girl, and I'm just a boy,
could you be a little less pious?

We are in love, haven't you heard
how we rock each other's world?

I'm with the gamer girl, I said 'see ya later girl,
I'll be back right after this stage
I'll be in an editor
writing the song you sang
about a guy you used to know.'

[stanza repeats]
