Types: Filk
Yet another filk!

But despiar not, this one isn't about Bishie Ed.
It's about Ping and Piro!

Just so I'm clear the speaker is someone outside of the comic, not any of the characters.

Fuku on His Mind by ErekLich

Her mind is changing now
At last, all too well I can see
What her mind soon will be
If you strip away the ones and zeros
You will see what her mind soon will be

You're starting to believe
That you are someone real
You really can believe
That you can truly feel

And all Piro believes
Will be a memory
You'll be a real person then
And he'll have to see

Listen Ping-chan he won't like what he gets
All he'll want is to go push that reset
Please don't let him, I've been rooting for you all along
You have come into his life
He thinks he's just found a new toy
And he'll hurt you when he finds he's wrong...

I remember when at first you were bought
No talk of life then; we called you robot
And believe me, my expectations of you only rise
But every thought you have today
Gets dismissed in some new way
But Piro's in for a big surprise...

Sony Corp., your prototype
Should've stayed there locked up tight
Like her brother PS2
She'd've been cool
Simply bein' an EDS
Would've suited Ping-chan best
She'd've caused nobody harm, no one Alarm

Listen Piro do you care for your friend?
Don't you see she's human in the end?
She's a robot, yes; but she can still be injured, still can feel
I am frightened by your lacks
For you are callous to the max
And you'll rue it if she gets too real
If she gets too real

Listen Ping-chan to your feelings within
Let a life of love and friendship begin
Yet it's sad to see your chances weakening with every hour
For that Piro-san is blind!
Too much fuku on his mind!
I was hopeful once but now it's lost
Now all my hope is lost...

And Now, the Original:

Heaven on Their Minds by Andrew Lloyd Weber

My mind is clearer now
At last, all too well I can see
Where we all soon will be
If you strip away the Myth from the Man
You will see where we all soon will be

You've started to believe
The things they say of you
You really do believe
This talk of God is true

And all the good you've done
Will soon get swept away
You've begun to matter more
Than the things you say

Listen Jesus I don't like what I see
All I ask is that you listen to me
And remember, I've been your right-hand man all along
You have set them all on fire
They think they've found the new Messiah
And they'll hurt you when they find they're wrong...

I remember when this whole thing began
No talk of God then; we called you a man
And believe me, my admiration for you hasn't died
But every word you say today
Gets twisted 'round some other way
And they'll hurt you if they think you've lied...

Nazareth, your famous son
Should've stayed a great unknown
Like his father carving wood
He'd've made good
Tables, chairs, and oaken Chests
Would've suited Jesus best
He'd've caused nobody harm, no one Alarm

Listen Jesus do you care for your race?
Don't you see we must keep in our place?
We are occupied; Have you forgotten how put down we are?
I am frightened by the crowd
For we are getting much too loud
And they'll crush us if we go too far
If we go too far

Listen Jesus to the warning I give
Please remember that I want us to live
But it's sad to see our chances weakening with every hour
For your followers are blind!
Too much Heaven on their minds!
It was beautiful but now it's sour
Now it's all gone sour...
