Though no-one stops in Piney Flats,
The city solons used their wits
And burned the midnight oil at Pat's
While drinking jugs of slivovitz:

These clever sons of Piney Flats! --
They conjured up a marketing blitz,
and bought a fleet of trucks with flats
To sell the world their slivovitz!

Success has come to Piney Flats!
Yet penury in its eye still spits:
Their land's tied up in tiny plats
For vats to make more slivovitz.
