[I started this one quite a while back. For the setting**, look at 240, 249, 250, and 251.]

Hey There, Kimiko
(after The Seeker's "Hey There, Georgie Girl")

Hey there, Kimiko,
Slumping down the street so grumpily
everyone you meet can always see
the loneliness there -- inside you.

Hey, there, Kimiko,
why do all the jobs just pass you by?
Could it be you try too hard,
or is it the clothes you wear?

You're always interviewing but never getting the job
So shed those grown-up outfits and try -- a fuku on.

Hey there, Kimiko,
there's another fuku in the store:
bring out the school-girl inside and
oh, what a change there'd be,
Piro would see a new Kimiko.

Hey there, Kimiko,
dreaming of the seiyuu* you could be
games are a reality, you can't always run away.

Don't be so scared of changing and rearranging your part
it's time for you to be assertive -- a little bit

Hey there, Kimiko,
there's another fuku in the store:
bring out the school-girl inside and
oh, what a change there'd be,
Piro would see a new Kimiko.

Hey there, Kimiko,
wake up Kimiko...

* The two-syllable gaijinism "say-you".
** If someone's feeling up to speculating, what would've happened if Kimiko had showed up in a fuku in 250? (Or if she'd shown up in a fuku instead of Erika, though I can't find the comic in which Erika did; or if she'd been wearing one when Piro first met her; or if she'd been wearing one when Piro gave her his railcard?)
