Cute mother Meimi
Makes meals for her family
To keep them all healthy and straight,
Then in comes a monster
Who trashed out the harbor,
And kept her poor husband out late.

She made him a big lunch
To take up the slack
But a rampage sidetracked him
Before he got back.

She made Yuki breakfast
A few days before this,
But the girl couldn't eat,
Because of lovesickness.

Then a strong resolution
Gave her courage once more,
So she fought with her brother,
And ate like a horse!

"I'm glad," said her father,
"She's over her cold."
"Yes, it's hard," Meimi smiles,
"To get over love's throes."

"Um, Meimi-san, what, eh...
"What was that you said?"
Then his cell interrupted -
The rest you have read.

Cute mother Meimi
Takes care of her family,
(Pay heed to this whacked nursery rhyme!)
She's much more complex
Than her daughter suspects,
And she'll help her through difficult times.
